So can you or can you not get an option file for PS4? I'm confused to say the least. Does the new firmware update on PS4 address this?

I have the luxury of not having bought a next gen system yet so for me the answer is simple, I won't buy the console unless I can get an option file. I've been waiting for this game to buy a new console so it all comes down to this question.

There could be a way to get an option file but it can only be tested once the game is out. Although it can't give u licensed kits as there is no image support even if it does work. Keep an eye on the PES World site.

As i am a new member in this forum, i´ve never realized this option file's thing would be that important for a PES fan. I mean, someone here is deciding to buy or not a next-gen console based on this...interesting.

Why is that surprising that the OF is a big deal??? For me, this game is unplayable without the option file. Without the real kits and player names I don't enjoy the experience.

As for the part about deciding to buy a next gen console based on the availability of the file, I don't think that is that big a deal. If I play 3 different games a year that is a lot for me. PES is my #1 priority of all games by far so why wouldn't I base my XBOX vs PS4 decision on the OF issue?

I don't quite understand this as the champs league is licensed in PES so if liverpool, arsenal chelsea and man city are licensed in that particular mode how come they can't be licensed on the other modes in PES 2015?

Because the rights cover that specific competition only.

Maybe it's because i didnt's chat or read opinions from other PES fans before this year, so it was surprising for me.

I bought my PS4 almost exclusively for PES 2015 and tried the DEMO. IMO Once you play the next-gen version it's impossible to keep playing on a PS3, i sincerely consider that all the good stuff i'm experiencing with it, really justifies my purchase, even in despite of the OF's problem.

I agree about the demo, I started playing it on XBOX1 over the weekend and immediately boxed up my PS3 and sold my copy of PES14 back to the game store for credit. The demo is amazing!
