Ok so i was playing in the master league today and down 1-0 to arsenal. I got a corner, passed it to a player near me, then passed it back to the guy who took the corner, he put in a great cross and i scored with 5 mins to go only to find out the goal was offside. I checked the replay and their was an arsenal player(not the goalie, but a defender) standing right beside the goal post, behind the goalie, which made my player(the one who crossed the ball) onside by atleast a good 5 yards. I was so pissed. PES needs to fix these stupid glitches.

No, you know the yellow line that they show to show you your offsides, well i was about a yard off the yellow line and the goalie and the arsenal defender were both about 5 or 6 yards behind the yellow line. And i do agree with you ge•stalt but that was not a situation that i need a good goal go against me.

I had a very similar situation, took a corner, got headed out so I played a lucious through ball (radar showed that I was on-side), scored the goal for it only to be ruled off-side. Replay shows I was infact on-side, by a long way.

was the goal keeper behind you... i mean were you actually past the goal keeper... koz otherwise you need two players to keep you onside... thats the offside rule

the funniest thing happend to me online 2-1 up ,just starting injury time and this guy smashed 1 from in his own half

I've seen one glitch in that the play shouldn't have been offside, but it was (ball was played 5-10 feet backwards, so how could it be an offside pass?
I also have a replay saved of a goal I scored in BAL in which my player is CLEARY offside. I think they made it possible in this year's version for the ref to make the wrong call, but I will continue to watch for this and see if it happens again.

I could not be happier if they allowed the ref to miss a few offside calls because it makes me it a little bit more realistic. With that said, all missed calls should go my way and not the computers.
On the other hand if they EVER rule a goal was scored when it clearly hit the side netting outside of the goal, i'll probably snap the game in two.

I got away with one in BAL mode, my player was slightly ahead of the last defender and scored a winning goal lol.
yeah i dont think you rrealise the offside rule. if there is a defender behind the goalie he almost acts as the goaliie. so if he is behind the goalie and the keeper is the last man(accept for the chap behind him) but the keeper is in front of the guy who scored when the ball was played, the keeper acts like he is the last defender, making your player offside. thats the best way i can explain, its not PES its an official rule they have got right for years to my surprise.
another official rule somebody may not have noticed PES getting right is when you take a penalty, if you hit the post and the ball comes back towards the taker you will be unable to even touch the ball with him as this would be a foul as it is considered to be taking the penalty to yourself since nobody else has tocuh the ball since you did.
