ECW 02/01 Results
TV Title - Bobby Lashley vs Chris Masters (C)
Match starts with Lashley dominating with power moves. Lashley tries to end the match early with a spear, but Masters side steps and Lashley goes shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Masters the starts going on the offence. Delivers backbreakers, spinebusters and body slams to Lashley, but Lashley kicks out at two at every pin attempt Masters tries. Masters starts getting fustrated.
e goes outside and picks up a chair. As he gets inside he raises the chair and goes to hit Lashley, but Lashley ducks and spears Masters near the ropes. Lashley pins, but Masters gets his foot on the rope at two. Lashley picks Masters up and sets him up for the dominator and as he picks him up, Masters foot hits the referee and knocks him out in the process. Lashley delivers the dominator and pins him, but the referee is down. Lashley tries to revive the referee, but that allows Masters time to get up and smash the steel chair onto the head of Lashley. He then puts a knocked out Lashley in the Masterlock, the referee slowly gets to his feet and lifts Lashley's arm and then drops it and then signals the bell.
Winner of the match by submission and still ECW Television Champion, Chris Masters
Masters leaves to boos.
Backstage the Hart Foundation are being interviewed. Bret states that he is in ECW to win the only Heavyweight Title he has not held. The Anvil stroking his beard laughs and then leaves.
The ECW General Manager makes his way to the ring and says that at New Years Revolution, ECW will be victorious. He then names
Masters and Rob Van Dam as the two superstars to team up.
Carlto vs Hulk Hogan
The beginning sees Hogan out powers Carlito. He hits Carlito with some short arm clotheslines, throws a punches at him and even chokes him to gain a bigger advantage. He goes to scoop slam Carlito, but he reverses and drop kicks Hogan. Hogan runs to Carlito who pulls the top rope down and Hogan goes over an to the outside. Carlito goes out, but Hogan pokes him in the eye, Carlito holds his eye and walks the side of the ring, as Hogan turns Carlito around he is met by apple spat right into his face. Hogan looks very disgusted and embarrassed. The two starts trading punches and the referee goes out to try and sto them, but he can not get control of them, so he calls for the bell and it ends in a no contest. The two continue to take their brawl to the backstage area.
Match ends in No Contest
Video package is shown of Ric Flair offering his assistance to a superstar, Mr.Perfect accepting and then Ric Flair telling Mr.Perfect "To be the man, you gotta beat the man!"
Ir switches to Mr.Perfect in his locker room, where he states that tonight he will beat the Nature Boy and it will be done "Perfectly".
It then switches back to the backstage area and Carlito and Hulk Hogan are still going at it. Referees eventually manage to seperate the two.
Mr.Perfect vs Ric Flair
Match starts with both competitors trading holds and showing off their technical ability. They come carry on and this time Ric Flair gets the better of Mr.Perfect and takes him down with an arm drag. Perfect stares at Flair and as Ric Flair brushes his hair back and shouts "WOOOO" to the crowd, feeling very please with himself. They go back for a lock up, but Perfect hits Flair with a kitchen sink (running knee to the gut). Perfect now has the upper hand. He delivers a snap suplex, sends Flair to the ropes and gives him a back body drop and then puts him in a body scissors. Flair breaks out of it, but as he reaches his feet, he gets clotheslined back down. Perfect shouts to the crowd "no we're gonna see a Perfectplex!". He picks Flair up and sets him up for the Perfectplex, but Flair throws Perfect's hands away and delivers a hard knife edge chop and another and another. He then throws Perfect to the ropes and gives him a back body drop of his own. Perfect gets back up and is met with a clothesline that surns him inside out. Perfect is slower to get back up this time and as soon as he is up, Ric Flair delivers the chop block to the back of the leg. "WOOOOO". Flair grabs the leg of Perfect and is about to put him in the Figure 4 Leg Lock, but as he spins around one leg, Perfect wisely rolls him into a small package and surprises Ric Flair with the 3 count!
The winner of the match by pinfall, Mr. Perfect!
After the match Flair is still surprised. As he gets out of the ring RVD comes to the ring and hits Mr.Perfect with the Van Daminator to the amusement of the crowd.
RVD then gets on to the top rope, stares at Ric Flair and does his "RVD" taunt as ECW comes to a close.
