How much control have you got over the edit or is it simply not there !!
if you can do basic editing can you add custom players & change the stats on them ie: Stamina, Speed etc.
I cant wait for the release of Pes6 & feel so far let down by Konami. Its
seems to me a little bit of a rush job to get this out for the HD market !! I'm hoping that Konami post a few patches up on the Marketplace which will enable more on Pes6
look forward to your reply

i have a question,
can i regester different players in the international teams i.e. take beckham out of the england squad.
i was just wondering will the game still look good even when playing with a normal basic tv?

Thanks for that post......it clears a few points up !! you mentioned that
you could add players within the edit mode, can you change the height
& appearance of a player or just the few you listed ie: age, injury etc
Its always good to stick 3 custom players in a team with them
all on 99 just to make the game that little more exciting !!
As you mentioned the game play is amazing. If I could add those 3 custom players as I've always done on previous versions of PES it would be quality.....roll on the 27th October, I bought the Xbox360 just for this one game !!!!
PES is King
Mate if you are lookign at getting a HDTV soon then it will look like PS2 for now. But if you are not looking to upgrade it will be pointless, the HD definately looks 100% better.

Have you got any screen shots of the edit menu & teams ?
Would you be able to post the jpegs up on a message !!
Also is there any slow down of the gameplay on the 360 as other sites
claim or is smooth as can be
i will be getting the game for the 360 but i havent got the money for a hdtv yet. i have heard that the game still looks very good on standard res and iam sure thats a bit of an exaggeration about the game looking ps2 althoguh i really appreciate your advice. how would it look on a cheap lcd tv?i would also like to know how many other people will be playing it on a standard.
Basically, there is only one editing mode, in the main menu when you choose edit it brings you to a submenu when you can edit a current player and the option to save. Here is what you can edit:
Player Name
Height
Age
Stronger Foot
Injury (A or B or C etc) - This is the injury tolerance
Growth Type (As in how the player develops over his career)
Position
Ability (so all the player abilities)
Special Ability
ANd thats it. THerefore no control over the kits, teams or the like. Simply you can add players and edit current players in the teams that exist. I think Konami has made a decision to not allow any changes to the teams and their kits. This may be true only in Xbox 360, I have a PC version and although its a beta it also is the same. I think this is due to legal issues guys. Konami would not remove this of their own liking.
In Master League the only change you can make is player numbers  and choosing the general conditions of gameplay. NOTHING else.
Well once again dont let this dissappoint you to much, the gameplay is amazingly good. If you dont like it, let me be the first to say soccer is not your game, because it just doesnt get any more realistic for todays games.
