Rumour:Fisher Lose's His Voice
An interesting rumor coming from our chums over at Sarcastic Gamer tells us that, according to their "people", they've been informed that voice actor Michael Ironside (the iconic voice behind Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher) has been axed and will not voice Fisher in the upcoming release Conviction. Sarcastic Gamer's tipster didn't give any reason for Ironside's dismissal, but we have a feeling that, if this turns out to be true, the almighty dollar would be to blame. Let's just hope this rumor ends up being hogwash, because we think we can all agree that Sam Fisher isn't Sam Fisher without Ironside behind the mic. Ubisoft, with fury in our eyes and fists clenched, we're warning you. Don't you screw Conviction up like this.
Alone In The Dark Goes Gold
Exciting news Alone in the Dark fanboys, Atari just announced today that the Joystiq approved and fire friendly Alone in the Dark has wrapped up development and has gone gold. Currently being copied to DVD at some manufacturing plant overseas, Alone in the Dark will arrive on the Xbox 360 in Europe on June 20th and a few days later, June 24th to North America. And for comparison's sake, it will release to the PS3 sometime later his Fall. Central Park will not be the same later this month, so we advise walking your dog or doing the picnic thing in the park prior to experiencing Alone in the Dark.
Some 360 news..Rumour:Original MGS On XBLA
Given the fact that the fourth game in the series is poking fun at the 360's storage size, and that XBLA is well known for memory restrictions (MGS was bigger than XBLA's limit of 350MB), this rumor doesn't seem too plausible does it? However, the original Metal Gear Solid did find its way to a multitude of platforms and a version of the game (PC) was actually published by Microsoft.
According to Ripten, who say their source spotted "the game on a certain pre-release network", Metal Gear Solid could in fact be on the way to an XBLA release. If their source is to be believed, the game appearing on PartnerNet is almost a guarantee that it will see release at some point (though sometimes many months later, as was the case with Ikaruga.) While the Xbox isn't traditionally the home of the series, a port of the second game did find its way there, so perhaps a port of the first isn't so out of the question after all.
So I bought the wireless adapter thingy, searched for my connection & got a shitty 1 red bar out of 4. PS3 1 - Xbox 0

Isle of Man. I'm talking about the wireless signal. Looks like I'll have to move the router or buy a more powerful router anyway.
Dragonfly said:I'm guessing you need a wireless router to use that wireless adapter. I've been putting off getting Xbox Live because I hear mostly bad things about the gameplay, lag being the main problem.
