Guys, just a little bit of info for you. Since I started my job at Game in October we have taken back 19 X-Boxe 360's which are cluttering our stock room. Now its the same reason all the time (I dont have a 360 so bare with me) the disc either gets stuck in or all the lights turn red. Luckily us europeans have been given a year guarantee (EU Law) unlike our friends accross the pond with just 90 days. But if any of you are thinking of buying one, please keep hold of your receipt, box and manuals, and your retailer will be happy to replace it free of charge like we do.

Apparently Microsoft extended the guarantee to a year in the states after some of the problems they found.

A question for you.. If all the packaging was opened (for manuals etc.) and the box was .. well.. used looking :erm: (Been used to transport the xbox quite a few times), would retailers replace the whole lot free of charge?
My Xbox is working fine and has been since I got it.. apart from destroying a copy of Gears :realmad: (console was moved while on). It'd be nice to know I could return it that easily if something did happen.

i had to take my 360 back to gamestation and they accepted it with all the things opened but it depends on the shop but you should be able to how did you ruin your gears of war

alright am gunna buy the wireless network adaptor for my pc which is a shame i cant have holes drilled left right and center, but the thing is on my computer i don't have a router to connect the wireless thingy up Hunter suggested a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G, he said it runs great but thats is 70 quid in argos i only have about 110 quid to spend minus 60 for wireless so does anyone know where i can get a decent router for around 50-60 pushing it but i cant buy online so from a local store would be great

As long as you've got the receipt and components that came with it thats all that matters. The faulty X-Box is destined for tests then eventually, the bin.

also i dunno which router to use i.e. modern router or router a modern router is internet connected through your phone and router is internet connected through your tv and i have NTL broadband with BT phone and i dont have ntl cable so what would i use ?

Mine's alright, but I think the console rapes the game discs, coz after the first day of playing PES, I could see the edges of the disc looked worn down a bit. Plus, sometimes I get error messages saying the game cannot be read during a game, which means I have to stop an start again.
