Just tried converting a face scan I made on the PC version, and it doesn't work on Xbox. Any ideas about what I might be doing wrong?

Did you get the gubbed up colour pallet? I need to look into that, not sure why its doing it.

What do you mean gubbed up colour palette? I think that may have happened when I converted some PS3 scans.. but for the PC one I converted, it's just an error logo (red cross)

I don't have a blank Face001. I downloaded a Ronaldinho scan from a Brasileirao OF someone made, and converted over that.

Just a silly question did you decrypt the PC face***.bin first? you must decrypt all PC files first.

Yes, but you would need a donor to do the importing, before you can convert it.

PC Converter tool updated, now does byte swaps without donor files means 100% conversion every time, Faces still have strange colour pallet when imported to Xbox not sure why :\

I cannot sorry, until I fix/workout the issue with PC converted Faces, you will need to use PS3 ones.

Ok, so I've tried with decrypting this time; I tried making georgethejungl's Jan Vertonghen scan on the PC version (without any updates - v1 of the game etc.) and then used w!LD's v1.2 decrypter.. this time, the file did load (the face settings for Vertonghen were correct, ears were the right shape etc) but the texture itself is black, and the detail on his face is strange, like the colour of the entire PNG has been inverted. Any ideas, rocky5?

It's currently broken I need to workout why it's doing this, PS3 is the only was for faces the now sorry.

OK I have been trying everything bar decrypting the image, the latter I haven't a clue how to do that, I can fix the skin colour (latest version) but the image is a no go, it seems to be swizzled or something the Xbox cant use it, just like the PC cant use the Xbox faces.

Strips though are perfectly fine

rocky5, do you have the PS3 source folders with the bpl club logos? really want to import them into my game. Or would the method work if I used the PC convertor? Would the PC convertor allow me to convert my own images without a donor?

is it possible to change the png's? for example: in paul's kit-png-folder is arsenal home the first png. can i change it with newcastle away or is that impossible?

You can - just change the number of the Newcastle kit folder to 001 before converting it to the 001 Xbox file.

i try it out but it dosen't work. when i load the file into the editor i can see this:


my folder look like this:

Source PS3 Folders
-> BLES01407EUNIFORM001 -> DATA, ICON0
-> BLES01407EUNIFORM002 -> DATA, ICON0

Source Xbox Files
-> UNIFORM001
-> UNIFORM002

i've searched for hoffenheim home and away at Paul's png's. it's 115 and 116. so i change the folder name/number from "BLES01407EUNIFORM115/116" to "BLES01407EUNIFORM001/002". that is correct, or?

and how could i use other png's like chalie's? should i "overwrite" them with the orginals?

i know thats a lot of questions :/

Glad you got it working, just a little note, it doesn't import PNG's, it imports the DATA.BIN file. The png is for show so you know what strip is what

No sorry, you can however recreate them using either the PC editor or the PS3 editor.

just remember to Decrypted the PC files first.

Updated the Option tool, it unlocks everything now & updated the converter, they have better error handling.
