I'll probably play a number of various friendly matches with different types of teams first. To get an idea of how many minutes per goal go by on average. Then I will start a ML with the properly realistic minutes per match.

My officiall first PES 5 match was on a PC demo ... Thing was, I didn't have my controller installed ....

So, 5*, Arsenal vs Chelsea, it took me about 5 minutes to figure out what the buttons were, but still, so terribly akward. Only lost 1-0 though, but plugged my controller in, 2-0, 1 deflection and 1 ... dodgy tap in. Re-sult :D

But, I'm waiting for my first genuine match when I buy the PS2 version ......

When I bought ISS pro '98 I played Italy vs Sweden. That was my first match. 5 minutes, lowest difficulty level. I've done the same thing in:

ISS pro '98
ISS pro evolution soccer
ISS pro evolution soccer 2
PES (PS2)
PES 2
PES 3
PES 4

I can't wait to play Italy vs Sweden on 1 * difficulty level in PES 5, maaaaaan!!!

You need to step up and make it about 5 stars. There it no point playing 1 star, unless it is your first ever time playing the PES Series. In my book that is a cheap victory.

I play ONLY ONE MATCH on 1*. Cuz that's my holy tradition. I always play PES on highest level as everyone:p.

but I never score in my first matches;. it takes me two weeks to win a match :(
