Winning is the only important thing. Either by winning ugly by grinding it out or by beautiful football. Winning is fun, losing is for losers. "Show me a person who isn't sore about losing, and I'll show you a loser." Quote by a great man..me.

LOl Divino1 full of it arnt you.

In master league i prefer to pass it around as i have made my own team and most players are still the likes of castollo,minanda,borota-slow. But normally i prefer to use the wings to cross balls in and play through balls

Full of a winning attitude. If that is what you mean? Thats a rhetorical question don't answer it. Well its a resounding yes I am full of it. Full of a positive never say die spirit.

Tethlon.
In multi player I mainly play with quick passes and 1-2's and finish with a neat through ball, but against the computer I normally play with the wings, and try to get crosses in.

I really wonder how you all would do on a lesson Dutch. :D
I'd be up for it if you want to teach me? My best friend is of Dutch origin (his Grandad)... Although he doesn't speak a word of it.
Cruyff is my all time hero btw...

Cruyff was a great player, but when it came down to it in the World Cup final. He feel just a bit short, and he is a baby retiring form international football at such young age. He couldn't handle the pressure.

The opening goal was genius (not the penalty, the build up) and he was hacked to bits in that game by Voghts. The Germans were dirty cos they couldn't compete with pure football.

Who won, thank you.. No excuses you battle through the tough spots during the game. Yes maybe genius but people only remember the winner. It is all that matters in sports is winning. Winning is fun, losing is for losers.

I'm not arguing mate, you are totally right. I'm merely making excuses for the great man as he can't stick up for himself in this instance.
I don't know how much footy you play, but when you have bruises all over and two dead legs its hard to play at the top of your game. On the other hand it was an effective tactic for the Germans so I can't take that away from them.
My point is, if the Germans had played a fair game, the Dutch would have destroyed them. But they knew Cruyff was the biggest threat and they decided to try and take him out of the game.

No argument here. I agree with most of what you say except the part about fair game. What is a fair game? If you play within the rules its fair. It might be ugly but it wins. This is the sole reason throughout football history the Germans except for recently do well in major competition. The have a anything to win attitude. The dutch throughout history have proven to be chokers except for Euro '88.

Short passes, one-touch passes & one-two's. I can beat the comp on 6* nearly every time & I'm only average. It's just about getting to know the strengths on each game in the series.
In PES3 the lofted thru-pass/volley move rocked, as did the short corner/pass back/wallop or the 1/2 way line lob from a counter-attack from an oppo corner. These moves don't work (as well) on 4, so you just find out what does work.
As for playing against your mates - mix it up a bit, but basically the first bit of this reply still works wonders.

The Dutch thought like; "Ah... where gonna win anyways" and didn't really had a proffesionel attitude...
But on the other hand: We should have won the game...

I play pressing attacking football. I play 4-1-2-1-2.

I get the ball, it goes to my DM who spreads it to either Kezman, who's a WF, or Duda, LM. It then usually get's cut inside to my strikers, or i get behind the defence with Kezman. I usually dribble past about 5 players instead of passing, then score :)

Sometimes i can't get through though, which is when i play a lot more defensive, and take my time. I push Kezman out really wide, but keep two CF's. This gives me loadsa space down the right. Unfortunately my strikers are awful at heading, and they're small, so cutting it back happens lots, and defenders normally get infront :(

Anyway, i play lots of attacking football, direct.

What kind of football do you play with your teams in pro evo? Do you play fast, attacking football? or do you tend to just pass the ball around, waiting for an opening.

Personally, I'm more of the latter. I tend to play at a pretty slow tempo for most & just keep the ball. It gets me the results i suppose, which is the main thing.

How about you lads then?
I play quite the same as you. It helps in defence as well.

I call my style of play "possession".

That has given me results like 1-0 and 2-0 and I'm rather contented with them.
