imo no real solution for this, but since your opponent is more concentrated on taking your man down then on defendig the ball, maybe there are gaps somewhere in his defense you can benefit from, remember, the footballing solution always wins :)

nice project! I am also playing with ajax, and try to have the 'old' ajax players, currently have a team with players like vd sar, heitinga, chivu, maxwell, seedorf, vd vaart, sneijder, de jong, babel, ibrahimovic, de ridder, huntelaar... Man if they would still be playing in amsterdam....

i totally get your point mate! Its about the rating.. I have the same, sometimes my rating is so bad.. I dont even want to go to the pub then, because maybe people pick on me because of my low PES rating :s..

i'd say heitinga is a good option, for less money: nigel de jong or demy de zeeuw, statistically not top class but very usefull, if you need a left footed player try van der heijden or van bronckhorst

yes the thing with the quick counter is that it is actually a tactic to pressure your opponent when he is in possession, therefore your back line will move up straight from kick-off, as mentioned above, just run backwards immediately, we its really neccessary use your gk, but thats dagerous...

good point about the low crosses, i also try to get my defender to intercept the low cross before it reached the first post, mostly this is succesfully because of good positioning of your player (and because the low crosses are quite predictable) the thing i use to defend te lob at kickoff...

mostly i like to perform a 1-2 pass with my goalie in these situations, allways works well for me..

if you dont want your AI teammate to make sliding tackles, you should turn off the 'sliding tackle' feature in the 'auto trigger setting' menu

van wolfswinkel, doesnt look very good with his stats but he scored a hattrick against a puyol/maicon etc. Defense, just a proper striker with a better shot than you would expect..

oke oke.. But you must agree that a lot of games have become far to easy to achieve lately, especially when you compare the 'old school' games. I like it that you really need to invest time and develop some skills (scouting skills, tactic skills and playing skills), to get a decent team...

seems like te next gen games also brought some next gen gamers, the 'i want it all, and i want it now!'-types, gamers have been far too spoiled lately with games which were too easy to achieve.. Lets just respect the superstar teams with their achievement and try to beat them with your lesser...
