Konami should be ashamed of themselves for treating their customers like crap. Online gaming isn't the be-all-and-end-all but we ps2 owners have been crying out for online play since the first pro evo.

I agree, there are some annoying niggles with the game. The handball thing is particularly frustrating, plus the referees can be severely over-zealous. PES3 is still utterly superb.

Doesn't This Is Football have a license though? I totally agree that gameplay is priority #1, but i suspect that Konami could easily afford to put out PES with a license without compromising the game.

I was practising chipping/lobbing last night and it seems like they've improved it a lot over previous PES games. The L1 chip especially seemed to arc unrealistically before, now you can get a beautiful low trajectory (and still beat the keeper).

I think it would be good if you could have a change view button, like you get with driving games. Long and Wide views are great, but i'd like the ability to quickly change to short/intermediate views for corners etc without pausing the game.

I agree, it would be totally irrational if EA made a better football game than pro evo and people refused to play it. Having said that, EA have been making FIFA games for years and Konami have always had an edge over them in terms of gameplay; I can't see this changing as no matter how good...
