Or the one that's incorperated into a shot which is when you hit R2 just before the player strikes the ball. it isn't really a move to fake people out or whatever... it's just where the player has to change his shot animation to make the "placed shot" - which Square + R2 would achieve.

Use R2 to move slightly away from the ball so it drops at your feet rather than your head. It's pretty hard to judge it, but if you play lofted balls using R2 it gives you a little bit more time to line it up. Also try and leave pressing shoot until quite late, or they will attempt the head...

Murc, just give it a bit of time. Try sorting out your formation, you say that the opponent always has people in space. Spread your formation out i find works. Gives you time to turn and play your next pass. And make sure you have like a network of progressive passes all the way up the field...
