90% of the complaints about this game will be resolved once you learn the game better. First of all the business about Henry not being able to outrun slow CB's... here I really am not sure what people are doing wrong. If Henry is well rested, and you're using R1 and *are not* all tangled up...

The gameplay in WE9/PES5 is awesome, huge upgrade and fantastic showing here, but I do believe they dropped the ball on options, extras, etc... an upgrading of the game's features would've been nice.

Use your heads, naysayers... there are all sorts of interesting things you could do to make this work online. In terms of ball chasing and formations, you could have a button press to bring up a little grid of where your player is supposed to be positioned and what his ideal movement options...

The man of the match will have a star next to his name in the ratings section. Another neat little feature is that players who contributed greatly to the match will often get little blurbs written about them when you scroll over their name.

I just can't see any advantage to using the analogue over the D-pad, except maybe to prevent finger soreness. It just makes direction pressing less precise, IMO.

I think the d-pad is superior in WE/PES. I am 99% sure that the directions 'between' the 8 directions possible on the D-pad do nothing, so using the analogue stick only increases your error margin. I switched to d-pad early on in my WE gaming and never looked back. I'm reasonably certain...

I think a big part of this is that since possession is so much looser now, free kicks feel a lot more dangerous. No more snagging the rebound right off the hop and simply tapping square to get rid of it; what happens a lot more in the new version is that you fire a shot in and it bounces around...

I think you will like it better when you become better at it. I never had the trouble you are describing with passing, you just have to make sure your guy is not super pressured or on the wrong foot or spinning or something when you make the pass (just like in real life). The somewhat slower...
