LFC, the difference is that PAL standard looks better due to it's better resolution and has better colours as well. Normal PAL standard has 50Hz refresh rate with 25 frames per second. NTSC standard has worse picture quality but has better frame rate (30 frames per second) and it has 60Hz...

I have Virtua Tennis 2 and Soul Calibur 2, both games give you a choice of choosing between 50/60Hz PAL, and in both cases I found 50Hz much prettier. In PES3 case, is it 60Hz NTSC or 60Hz PAL, that's where I'm confused...???
