I'm an AMF but playing as a CMF, for Boro at the moment. The play a normal 4-4-2 with no holding midfielder. I usually stay back whenever needed and only join up with the attack when we get into the final 3rd or are on a counter attack. If you stay back a bit, you're available more for your team...

I'm only just over halfway through the 1st season with Boro. There so shite but I decided to stick with them during the transfer window, even though Newcastle were interested and there 6th, Boro are 18th. I don't leave when things get rough.... unlike like HammerHead!!!! Playing as an AMF...

Yeah, I think you do have to unlock everything first, though I've never paid much attention to it as I don't like buying legends in Master League, takes away the realism.

I'm glad to hear that, I share a similar opinion. I want to become good but not too good. It takes away the challenge of it. It should be made to be extremely difficult to become a World Class player. Also, being able to play well with a player with lower stats shows your a good player.

Don't know about anyone else but pretty much everytime I'm on the bench, I always get put on just before half time. Been like that since I started BAL. I'm playing it on ps2 so dunno if it's any different.
