I'm playing as a AMF, and find it quite easy to get high ratings. Make lots of passes, chip in with some goals and make yourself available to teamates to recieve the ball, the more touches of the ball you have, the better.

I haven't played it in 2 months, but that's partly down to my PC being so shit slow during the game. Personally, I find just as much enjoyment playing the older versions.

Attack and aggression don't mean that much if your controlling the player anyway. That's more useful for CPU controlled players for where/how you want them to move. Shooting accuracy, speed, agility, balance, heading, Shot technique.

There's no skill in doing it with teams like Barca, Man Utd etc. If he's that good, tell him to use it with an average team. If he refuses, laugh in his face.

I play on the ps2 version so it's different from the ps3 version, there's no Madden Test, just a regular IQ test which I don't think does anything. I'm playing on All-Pro, may go up to All-Madden soon.
