Playing online is completely different to offline when it comes to difficulty. Just make sure your comfortable with the game, what passes you can/can't make, when to shoot etc.

Best to just replace the controller mate. Opening and changing the battery is easy however putting the controller back together is fiddly and a general pain in the arse to get all the trigger buttons working.

I agree with this, In Fifa 12 you had to just create the angle and you could always get a pass through or get a shot off everytime.
