He's probably copying the link and pasting into the address bar, when what he needs to do is just click on it. If you look, there are parts of the URL missing replaced by '....' which a lot of forums do automatically. Throws some people off.

Yeah but the only time you have to do that is when selecting your squad before a game, in which case you'd be changing the lineups anyways. Your opponents will always reshuffle the team, have players in the right positions etc when you play against them, no matter where they are in edit mode...

Nah, I didn't do the formations since when you play exhibitions, ML, BAP, Champions League, Cups etc, the computer automatically changes the lineup. And it's not possible to update kits for licensed teams.
