All of 'em might be a bit unreasonable to expect, especially given the ability to grow stats in ML. ;^) However, Liverpool has a couple of hammers available right off the bat in Gerrard's right & Riise's left. Adriano and Nedved are killer, too.

I happened to glance at Paul Anderson of Liverpool tonight, who is valued somewhere around 400 pts, and his curve skyrockets almost as soon as you start playing him. His peak looked to close in on the mid 90s in a few years!

I've picked up Cwarim (aka Cruijff, my favorite player of all time) at 25 years old, and while his stats are pretty outrageous to start with, he's still growing significantly two years later. :^|

I don't know how cheap he starts in '08 (not out over here yet), but Kuyt isn't *too* pricey near the beginning in '07 with pretty nice stats, and top it off, he is indestructible. You can play him all game, every game.
