For the PS3, you can't download a patch off a website. It automatically prompt you to download the patch after you insert the disc (provided that your PS3 is connected to the internet). If your PES 2009 is from North America, you can only download the 1.10 patch.

I agree. Some people won't give this game a chance, and blindly say PES gameplay is way better than FIFA. PES is better in terms of player likeness and kits (licensed kits) though.
