Actually, I've found tapping /\ rapidly when in a one-on-one situation to be much more effective then holding it. It helps to cut out those outrageous angles your GK tends to make while not straying too far.

The online play is probably all FIFA 2004 has going for it. And even that is just a tool to cover up the shambles they call 'gameplay'. I wish FIFA all the best in the years, however. Competition is healthy. Go TIF! :)
