It depends on your style too, don't pick one based on how you'd like to play, pick it based on how you do actually play. It's hard to change your ways, but it's easy to build a formation to suit your style.

Pick a half decent club team with maybe one or two good players. Try Boca or River Plate, they aren't shit, but can't really compete with the big boys... Should be a decent challenge on 6 stars.

4-2-2-2 is possibly the most reliable formation going, but if you are beating the computer 7-0 on 6* you should give 2-6-2 a try, it'll add a bit of spice into the mix. It seems the game is too easy for you. I hadn't noticed them diving in cos most of my games are against my mates.
