I highly doubt it. They very rarely update NT. In fact, you can see from the screen shot of Italy's, they still got Immobile and Ranocchia even though they're not called up in the latest squad.

We can't know for sure until the correct datapack come out, because there's still a lot missing transfers

Try Transfermarkt for the squad list, Pesstatsdatabase for the stats (I downgrade the stats myself a bit because I think pestatsdatabase usually always overrated), Sofifa for the overall rating standard (e.g. Bernard is ovr 78 in Fifa, then you can make him rated around that in PES).

Yes, you should base copy them to Created Player pool before updating and then base copy them again to the respective players once you've done updating it.

CPU won't sign the one on Created Players, but based on the previous PES ML if i'm not wrong they still can sign player from Free Agent pool.
