What I mean is when there's a player across from you and you want to play a through ball to that player. So say you're running down the left wing on the near side and you want to play a through pass to the CM... you'd hold (roughly) 'up' on the d-pad. There was a moment I tried that yesterday...

Assisted passing is a bit bullshit at times. I've had passes go left when I aim right, and passes that go up the field when I aim parallel etc. Pisses me off sometimes but I've learned to just roll with it. One of the more annoying things is that 95% the time, a pass will find a player. Whether...

Just keep your distance when possible and move super slow (and crouched of course) when sneaking past or up to them. Don't try to fight them head on.

I have both these players. Iturbe I mentioned before, signed Villalba on a free this season. Not rated that high though, he's at 83 for me.

This seems to be the CPU's tactic 90% of the time. Most goals I concede come from wide areas, low pass into the box, and then a weak shot to the far post, either first time or after 1 touch.

Well yeah, there's that too of course. I mean, the youth players in Fifa's career mode all have realistic names, so I'm not sure why PES can't do that.

He's a CMF/AMF, so pace isn't really an issue. If you're struggling for cash, my advice would be to check the free agents/non renewals (you can filter in the advanced search) at the beginning of each season. Some really good players get released! Managed to sign Iturbe for nowt, 2 seasons...

The transfer offers you receive are fucking insulting. Just got offered £2.9m for an 86 rated player.... fuck right off. I'd be expected to offer 10x that much.

1) When they're about to make a breakthrough, the only think I've found that helps is scoring or getting an assist. Haven't had any defenders making the breakthrough yet, but had one that failed. It may be down to their match rating. 2) I'm assuming it's just your default lineup.
