If you press triangle (I think :erm:) on the game icon you should get a list of options. Sometimes they'll have a link to an online manual.

Strange... usually games are more expensive on the PS store, at least in the UK one they are.

Drawbacks of purchasing the PSN edition would be the large download size, you can't trade the game in when you've done with it, and you obviously can't just bring the game over to a friend's house. Gameplay wise, there should be no difference.
