Would I be correct in saying that the demo is out this week?

How slow? For me, if I complete an open world game in less than 3-4 weeks, I'd consider that a disappointment. :) I think I only started playing it in the last week of August.

Knocking points off a PES review score because of the lack of licenses is just daft. It's been like this since the beginning of time! You'd have thought the reviewers would have accepted it by now! With regards to the commentary, I've not heard the PES 2013 commentary, but it can't be worse...

Christ! I've only just become a mod! AFTER all those posts were made! Give me a chance. Just because I'm making criticisms about the game, does not mean it's not a valid contribution. If I was to give the game a score, based PURELY on the demo gameplay, I would give it a 6.5/10.

I didn't notice any keeping mistakes in the Fifa demo. Noticed a couple in the PES demo, but then.... keepers DO make mistakes in real life, so in that sense PES is more realistic.

That's true. One thing I would say is that if you loved the demo, the review scores aren't gonna make much difference to you - whether it got a 5/10 or a 9/10, if you loved the demo you should buy the game.

Would you care to make a valid contribution to the thread at all? In my view, Fifa is better than PES this year, but I'd still say that none of the games deserve higher than an 8. Compare these to other great games out there, that have been given 9's.... they're just nowhere near as good!
