Yesterday I just did the bit where: Great game. Only problem I have is that the camera can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

I hope it addresses the shooting and the passing. Then PES 2012 might actually be half way towards being a decent game.

What issues have been fixed?

I haven't given up on it yet, though I don't hold much hope if I'm honest. And for the record, I voted the 3-4 option for the ratings thread.

Don't go hating on the folk that like PES 2012. I'd rather be in their camp. I want to be in their camp, but I just can't make myself like this game, no matter how hard I try.

I hate it how they've put in new commentary lines to emphasise the new features. Shit like "ooooh, the crowd love a dribbler", and there's one that's a reference to the fangled off the ball movement.

Superstar difficulty. They do it when under no pressure whatsoever. I tried starting a ML (for the 2nd time) today. I played 3 games and I just couldn't stand it any more. In my opinion, the single player just isn't fun at all. It's worse than it's ever been. I'm yet to try multiplayer, but...

I think the shooting is just woeful in every way possible. Part of me thinks that Konami made it that way to counteract the crapness of the keepers. I don't think timing has anything to do with it. In your previous post, you mentioned the intelligence of the AI. I'll completely disagree with...

In my first (and only) game on superstar so far, I conceded a free kick about 30 yards away, and to the left of my goal. The player crossed it in and my defender decided to head it in his own goal. 10 mins later, I conceded another free kick, this time closer to the goal. I jumped with the wall...

Whoever said that free kicks result in less goals on Superstar difficulty is lying! :angry:

Wait... so now you're saying that it IS scripted? :unsure: In real football, you can't KNOW a goal will come. Lionel Messi could go clean through on goal and still miss. In PES, you'll find that you'll have instances where the cpu will move your players out of the way, mis-direct your passes...

No no, you THINK there's gonna be a goal coming, because a team is playing well and/or the other team is playing poorly. It's not an absolute certainty like it is in PES. Every goal in real football is preventable, even 30 yard screamers. It's not that way in PES.
