That's how it is on Fifa. Seems like Seabass wants PES to become Fifa-lite. I've noticed that the menu appearance has hardly changed at all from PES 2012. This is very Fifa-like, where the menus haven't changed for about 5 years! It's just lazy.

I was sure that I'd like it too. As you know, I'm always defended PES 2011 despite it's problems. I can't defend PES 2012 on the basis of this demo.

I'm not gonna switch to Fifa, that's for sure. If I still don't like the next demo, I may just give football games a miss for the year. I would say that's very unlikely though, there will be part of me that does want to buy PES no matter how bad I think the demos are.

Played it more today, like it even less now. I'm already noticing some pretty obvious scripting, which isn't a good sign. I REALLY want to like it. It pains me to say that I don't like it. The 2nd demo will probably be an improvement, but people are delusional if they think it will be...

I don't think so. Put it this way - PES 6 was liked by pretty much every PES fan. Look at the comments so far on the demo - very mixed. Still a long way from the glory days yet.

Has the PSN store been updated this week? Remember that demos aren't uploaded to the store independantly, they'll be uploaded when everything else is. EDIT: Sucks to be an Xbox user (no change there :laugh:), though at least you won't have any expectations dashed by an early demo, and will go...
