What some people seem to forget is that sports simulation with an expected yearly release is it's own worst enemy. Take the Madden series. At first it was a breath of fresh air, then that air stagnated as all we seemed to get was a yearly roster update and a few gimmicks. Then a couple of years...

Like Smink, I have a major apathy towards PES. 2009 & 2010 really killed any love for the series. I do hope that 2012 brings a return to the quality gameplay I know and still love from the earlier versions, but I find it really difficult to believe it will.
