You'll never get booked (by me at least) for not "towing the Konami line". It's the manner in which you express your opinion on some things that I don't like. Calling a bloke a "whinging slut" isn't exactly constructive, however annoyed you are by him.

I never quite understood why you couldn't edit the licensed team kits, although I'm sure when I downloaded an OF for an earlier version of PES, they were open to edit. What Konami could do is give users the option to modify the licensed kits as they would like them, to keep them up-to-date...

It's interesting to see they've taken some of FIFA's ideas (or it could be vice-versa, who knows) and included them in the new game.

I believe this relates to whether you turning the console off mid-game affects the final outcome of the match. If you set it to yes, resetting the console just because you're behind will mean you forfeited the current match.

This. I thought this was fixed for 2009. It's one thing having to rotate your squad due to fatigue, but having to do so because your twenty-five goal striker has to miss the game after he's scored three and set up two because his arrow is randomly blue/grey is a huge annoyance.

While I understand people's frustrations with the offside rule being too "perfect", having it any other way would cause other issues in future. For example, there'd be threads on here with users complaining about the AI "cheating" them because they were "clearly offside" and the assistant...

Yep, alanjog hit the nail on the head. If a player is getting paid to have their face on something, they'll do their best to talk it up ...and probably contractually obliged to, might I add.

It sure is lame, but watching the cup celebrations in any game is shit after watching it once. They've confirmed they'll be putting cup celebrations into 11. I hope they put a variety of them in though, because as said above ...it's shit watching the same thing over and over.
