Good 'ole ASDA. £27 notes later and a 2 minute drive and the disc was in the PS3. First impressions.... good actually. Playing on wide view graphically its' not a marvel, but replays more than makes up for it. The rain if fantastic. I'm sure i've seen it swirl, something I think i've only seen...

Chances are it'll be available for all systems and like all software updates it will be via a prompt when playing the game when online.

Just a suggestion... have you taken the disc out & checked it for dirt/smudges? I have the same problem with Madden 09 & have to wipe it periodically.

Agreed, it is a bit off, but it's the same with most things. Look at magazine subs, you tend to get them before they hit the shelves irrespective of when the stores receive them. i don't know for sure, but I think it has something to do with postage/delivery times. Companies I guess are...

Unless someone else breaches the release date then this is highly unlikely. The first store to sell before official release date tends to be penalised for future major game releases.

The left analogue has been a control option for a while for direction (with the left for manual passing), so I would assume this was still the case rather than a dedicated trick stick a-la FIFA. By all means correct me if this is not the case for 2009.

Standard proceedure in game stores for all large releases. Usually hinted at by a sticker on the box saying "pre-order now".
