The one thing I loved about PES more than anything else was the ML but now it seems I'll have to play MLO but the lag issues of PES2010 are pretty much enough to discourage me from that as well ... I could be wrong, MLO could be lag free but I somehow doubt it.

Agreed but I've played over 70 Master League games on Top Player and as far as I'm concerned this is without a shadow of a doubt the worst Master League I've ever played. With good teams its too easy despite the incredibly flawed AI and lack of imagination but with average teams the challenge...
