The league and cup system on PES2011 is pretty rigid and has fixed defaults, you can't customise the tournaments the way you could before. I haven't checked in a while but I think the did away with the Konami Cup, can someone check this for me before I start spouting rubbish?

Its still really popular online, I play regularly and I'm not usually a FPS fan either. As a game It took me a while to get into it but now (blowing his trum pet loudly) I'm actually pretty good. But then after nearly 500 hours online play I ought to be! ... 500 hours, man thats mental.

I'm on a PES 'break' at the moment. I turn into a right prick when I play PES because it fucks me off so much. I do want to play PES but I'm avoiding it for the sake of my sanity :cussing:

If you have all out attack for the last quarter of the game when trailing your keeper will come up for last minute corners.

Playing Pro might keep me calmer but a season of Pro on ML will feel a little too unchallenging. I couldn't do Top Player though, some of the quirks are just too annoying to tolerate.

Unfortunately Pro is still too easy. Its that stupid wing flaw, its more like real football In that players will jockey wide players but its still annoyingly easy to whip in goalscoring crosses. Top Player is a fucking joke as well. They ought to rethink the player difficulties, considerably.

With long crosses you have to 'aim' them with the analogue stick, if you hold down 'down' when you go to cross they will fly out of play on the opposite side of the pitch. Its better to hold R2 as you release the button to cross so it loops up into the penalty area making it harder to defend across.

Problem I had was when I scored my second goal the bastard just scored three own goals from kick off. I couldn't get the ball off him from kick off, bloody annoying.

I bloody hate it when your players run away from the ball! I played someone on line clicked L1 to change the player I was controlling, as soon as I did the player covering the space outside of the penalty area ran away from play and left a huge gap in my defence! Bastard scored against me thanks...

I'm 33 and I still break controllers from PES rage. I'm not proud, I'm just saying. I'm one spanner short of a good repair but its only bloody PES that does this to me. Yet I still buy the game every year. PESRage is usually preceded by "No, no, no, you didn't just do that! You cheating...
