You can re-size them in any image editing software, but to make them 1024x1024 in game you don't need to. You can simply import them in small size in game and even if the file is in 2048x2048 the game will automatically re-size the kits to 1024x1024.

It depends on what league you want to have on the game. If you want Portuguese league, do it over fake european teams. If you want Bundesliga, do it over Portuguese league. The only problem with the second option is the data packs and updates, you'll have to pay attention if any of the players...

I PES the way it is, even though it already was better in the past. I see it as my world of football, so I don't mind with that crazy stuff :D In my opinion, PES had more success (including better sales) when everything was crazy and focused on fun. Who remember the dinossaur and penguin suits...
