Everyone who bought the original VII would buy the remake. Hell people would buy a new console for it. S-E would make a shed load if they do the remake. VII and IX are two of my favourite games. I'm hoping this doesn't let me down like the ones on the PS2 did.

I think you really need to be a fan of fighting games to get excited about them.

I just had a gander at the score. Sounds like a must buy for the PS3. I may wait to see if it drops in price shortly after release. Although if CoD4 is anything to go by I could be in for a long wait.
