I find it's just like special abilities except we can turn them on/off. Special abilities always worked in Pes. Players with dribbling will frequently take on defenders whereas players without it look for the pass. I'm certain Konami will have no problem getting them to work right. So now not...

That's right. You can get a very powerful shot with 1/4 bar, which is basically a tap of the button. Power is determined by of course the stat as well as body position from the ball and favoured foot. This is why so many love Pes, the ball physics are just amazing and Fifa just doesn't compare...

It's not a power bar it's a height bar. It's a completely different situation compared to short passes which generally don't require any height. You just decide if you want a low shot or top corner but shot accuracy, player positioning, and other stats still mostly decide where it goes as even...

If you give players passing accuracy stats then hit and miss is the way it should be. Player stats play a small role but positioning and timing make a huge difference in Pes so no it's not like you say, just close your eyes and press X. Also the quickness at which you can peform them is a plus...

It doesn't involve any skill in real life. Also doesn't involve any skill to hold a button down to shield. It would be so trivial to just hold a button to perform such a simple and frequent task. Just my opinion but I'd be real happy if it was included automatic or not.

I also asked for this to be implemented. Big part of football I mean you see it so often every match I dunno why Konami never made an attempt to feature it. Fifa 09 has it though and it looks really neat. You don't need to assign any buttons just have it done automatically like in Fifa.
