Random select was meant to be a sort of 'farewell' feature for the PS2 I belive.

Yeah, you've just got to practice through balls. L1 and triangle, or your equivalent, will lob a through ball.

Surely if you're importing something like the Fly Emirates logo on an Arsenal strip it's simply a case of matching the colours of the imported logo and the strip.

To be fair, from distance the right basic colour of a boot gives you a decent impression of what it is meant to be.

Most of those FIFA kits look absolutely shocking, the England badge and numbers are small and warped. Allthough that could be edit screengraphics > ingame graphics.

From the very quick blast I had on the PS2 version of FIFA08, I didn't think it was that spectacular. Obviously I didn't have much time for a fair analysis, and I was playing as Preston, but I thought the controls were ridiculously sluggish, the player's ran oddly, it was too hard to beat people...

Get a 360, if only for the fact it's still a bit cheaper than the PS3. You can augment your games collection with Halo, Dead Rising, Gears of War, Forza 2 and Earth Defence Force 2017.

So can you (or will you be able to) hoy options files onto a 360 HDD using only a memory stick?

Don't get me wrong, it looks superb, but it has fuck all to do with anthing. It looks like it should be for FIFA Street or some ubershite like that, what with all the freerunning at that. And the start is so promising too, with the lethal tunnel shot.

PES2 and PES3 had the best intro videos. I wanna play them now, but me PS2 is all the way back at home, and I let me 7 year old cousin borrow PES3 so he would grow up to be a real man. The new intro vid is a pile of toss like, possible worst than last time.

It's a fair comment to say that diving is cheating, and I wholeheartedly agree, but so is tackling from behind and no-one complains about that particular feature. I know that's a fairly shit comparison, but you can see the angle I am trying to come from here.

Surprise surprise, it's the Man Utd fans whinging, because as we all know, the football world revolves around them. I couldn't care less who is licenced, so long as they put fucking stripes on the edit mode and someone does it for me I' happy enough.

Hopefully, it'll be something that doesn't work 99 times out of 100, so the people who try to use it too much will get sick. I can imagine it being quite fun to execute in the last minute of a tense cup final against a mate however.
