If it's an Ethernet Cable then it's not supposed to fit your phone socket. I'm pretty sure you have to connect your PS3 to a Router if you want to access the Internet.

The only lie in that PS3 list is the backwards compatability with PS1 and PS2 games. :rolleyes: Everything else is true. ;)

I think the key to the backwards compatability issue is how many of these titles will work after carrying out the firmware update. ;)

It sounds like this is either a Memory Card or Option File issue. Have you got a spare Memory Card lying around somewhere? If you have then try to create a new option file on it or copy the modifed option file onto it. See what that does.

I would also like to know what these "noticable issues" are. Sony are saying that a firmware update should fix any issues with a lot of the older games. I don't know how much truth there is in that but if anyone here is planning on getting a PS3 in time for tomorrow, then please post the...

Even though you can't see it, I'm guessing that the other end of that wire has a USB connector attached to it. Can you find some pics of the controller adapter?

That's the North American version of PES6 and WE10. The original poster is talking about the sequel to WE10 in Japan. I personally, have not heard anything about a sequel to WE10. I suspect it has something to do with the release of the PS3. Maybe that's why we haven't heard anything...

I heard that Sony will soon be releasing an official PS1/PS2 Memory Card and Controller Port adapter for the PS3. My guess is it'll be out by the end of this year.

But if you use the console to do other things such as playing back DVDs, Blu-Ray movies, DivX files and browsing the Internet, then suddenly the price doesn't become such a big obstacle anymore.

The 60 Gb PS3 supports Wi-Fi. You'll probably be able to play WE:PES 2007 on a PS3 but I'm not sure how the online thing works. The online stuff may still have region restrictions.
