I haven't had any difficulty in scoring free-kicks in PES6. It's about the same as free-kicks in WE10. It's very easy to score with players who have got free kick and curling stats of 95+. But you can forget scoring a free kick with someone who has free kick stats lower then 90. :no:

Because the Edit Mode Menu music is located in the 0_TEXT.AFS file in PES5. I'm not sure if it's the same for PES6 but I will be checking it out soon.

Open play? Well, I can't seem to remember if the incident occurred from a free kick or from open play. After all, it did happen almost 10 years ago. If it was from open play though, then yes I can see why the goal was allowed.

Exactly my thoughts. It wouldn't be allowed to happen today. I mean let's face it, the referee would've been too busy making sure that everyone was back on the pitch before he'd let the free kick to be taken, thus preventing another one of those Dion Dublin 'tap-in' situations.

I think this could have something to do with the speed of the media you're trying to use. Hunter, what was the speed of the DVD media you were having problems with?

What type of media have you put in the drive? It sounds like to me that the media you've put in the drive is not supported by your drive's firmware.
