Just a long shot (again) do you think there is any chance that the Konami DLC on the 12th would sort out the BLES problem?

Some people make me laugh, they don't consider that option files takes a very long time to make, they just sit down by their PC's waiting for them to magically appear - maybe they should try making one. All your work is greatly appreciated by the majority of us Mags!

@ Mighty__Mag, how easy (or hard) is it to do the 2 versions of the same option file once completed? and would you consider doing it?

Maybe I'm way off the mark here, but if the problem with the option files is one solitary digit (01020 instead of 01021), would it make a difference to rename the folders, i.e. BLES01021ELCEMBLEM10 and change it to BLES01020ELCEMBLEM10? just a thought....

@ Gun_runner: I would suggest sticking with it for at least another couple of weeks, there is nothing wrong with owning both games-sure, you'll probably play FIFA more, but one day you'll give PES another shot, and everything will just 'click' and you'll see that it's not a bad game at all...

You should try the broadcast angle, thats pretty good too - takes some getting used to, but once you do....

I fondly remember PES3 too, old baldy Colina on the front....i remember buying that on a thursday at the big HMV shop on oxford street (a day before release) and with it, i bought a disc that had all the official kits and proper names etc, a sort of option file on a dvd, and it had a proper PES...

Yep, you'll be able to import your own chants, another thing i noticed too, was that to import chants or your own songs on to the menus playlist, you don't have to put them in a konami/PES folder like last years game, if you go into the playlist menu and want to imort your own music, all the...

The switching between players was a little gripe of mine too (as well as the penalty shooting system and the non-existent play advantage rule). also, another thing that FIFA has always did better than PES is the camera angle, until i started playing with the broadcasting angle, and its awesome...

I was lucky enough to get PES 2011 last week (freebie at work), if it wasn't for that, i almost certainly would've got FIFA 11, after playing both demos, i felt that PES passing and overall flow of the game was much better, FIFA 11 for me has regressed since i played the demo of EA's world cup...

You should get yourself a USB stick before friday, they cost next to nothing these days (a couple of quid), and it's the easiest way to install an option file - you don't need one with massive memory, a little 32mb would do for this purpose! :)

Glen, do you have the game already? and if not, how are you so sure you'll have an O/F ready for release date (Friday)?
