Ok, this May be a "solution" if you have temporarily no internet connection. If there is a connection, sub accounts are much more comfortable. You will need a few minutes to set it up once, but have no further trouble anymore.

I think here are some miss understandings. Playing in offline game modes with other mates you will definetly need sub account(s) to play with edited teams. If you use a guest account, the "user generated content" issue will remain. But even with the sub accounts you will need an internet...

The images themselves are 2048x2048. When importing the images into the game you can choose if the resolution for ingame usage should be L(arge) = 2048x2048 or s(mall) = 1024x1024. I think Erzo imported those kits into Small section, so no need to worry ;)
