I got bored quicker with the last two versions of PES compared to 09. 09 is still in my console everyday, and I haven't even started playing ML yet, so I think the longevity will be the longest out of any version so far for me. :D

I think the answer is to play BAL. It definitely presents a greater challenge because you can't control every player (which is realistic because even a manager can't do that in real life). I haven't gotten bored of it yet, and as a result I haven't even touched ML yet...

Don't forget that PES 09 stats would have been based on last years performance, not this year. Last year, for 75% of the campaign we were the talk of Europe, being called the next invincibles. We may have lost it in the end, but the stats should have clearly been better for this year's game...
