To deselect man marking, just follow the same step for selecting man marking ie to cancel it just click on your player's mark settings then the player who you had marked, when someone is man marked you should see a feint red line from your player to the opposing marked player.

When performing a slide tackle, hold super cancel as it allows for more precision and for some reason the ref is less likely to blow for a foul. Since learning to defend with super cancel I concede very few goals against AI and human players.

Loved PES 6 but had some weird flaws, I think konami got to the stage with 6 where they couldn't really improve it. Almost forgot about pes 4, first PES game with full leagues licensed and was almost perfect gameplay wise, it had a lovely fluidity about it.

Sorry to state the obvious, but did you set his form to anything below 5? If so you will have to start again as you can't edit the condition of player within an existing game. You could hire an athletic trainer who has top level stats for form, this can help.
