@ Orzy I didn't read your first post properly to be honest, you don't have to press the right stick to perform a manual pass in pes 2011, just play it as you would a normal pass but press the LT button and aim with LS, the same goes for a manual long ball.

I use manual pass for about 90% of passes, the crucial thing is to make sure your player is positioned correctly in order to create an angle. Awkward at first but after a while it becomes second nature, we should have an option for manual pass without having to press LT next year. I don't get...

The only time the game can score for you is due to silly cursor change problems and the game occasionally taking over commands, Ive had the instance when I have a player selected yet an AI team mate has powered the ball in for me, infuriating and very unrewarding but doesn't happen often...

You can edit the league structure apart from the fully licensed leagues(ligue 1 and eredivisie). Go into edit mode and mess about with league structure.

Manual pass is your friend, allows much more sensitive and shorter range passing, this allows you to be more precise if you need to angle a short pass in a tight space.
