Pro Evo Is Definately On Xbox Live

Hi all,

This is my first post ever on here, and I have probable (nah definately) the best news ever.

After reading Hans post earlier, I decided to ring Konami myself to ask them THE question.

"Yes we are delighted to confirm Pro Evo 4 will be on Xbox Live" was the answer I'm sure we've all been waiting for.

As I'm new to this forum, is there gonna be any leagues arranged for us to play online?

Think that if it will be online Konami is going to make this public with a big BOEM or something. They are definately not telling just anybody that calls them about this feature.

theres a league being arranged for xbox live enabled players at the end of the year after the game is released on xbox

Cyrax, Ofcourse they are not going to just tell a nobody like me. I double checked with them and asked if it was being confirmed to the media and they said that is happeneing today (probably at GamestarsLive) so there was no harm in telling me today.

I actually rang them last week and there response then was simply nothing has been confirmed. If I was lying I would have done it last week when there would have been a reason to lie.

Oh, and I am not a nobody, I am the soon to be crowned World Champion Pro Evo 4 Player.

it has been confirmed at gamestars that pes4 on xbox will be online, but we already knewa bout this from HAN

How could they put it on X-box and not PS2... All of their faithfull fans have been playing PES on PS2 for years, shouldn't they be given the chance to play it online first...

PS2 network play is no where near as good as xbox live (no offence) as xbox has well over 1 million members now! so there is clearly more people playing, nad that may double to 2 million when halo 2 is released!

Also the xbox version was being released at a later date so PS2 did not have time to have it installed so you'll have to wait another year unfortunately

actually socom online has more hours played on it than every single live game add together

You pay for a starter kit then set it up with your broadband(which you must have). Anyway im waiting for someone to get back from Gamestars live so that they can tell us all about it!

its Exhibition matches and Penalties at the moment but one of my friends who went to Game Stars Live said that Konami will most likely had in downloadable contents and official tournaments too

My only concern is...Atari are doing the port from PS2 to X Box!

They could easily screw up the game big time! Hmmmmm...

it was playable at Game Stars and my friend said it was just as good as the PS2 version so its a safe bet that its not going to be screwed up
