I'd have love to play with Boz'. :'(

The game looks promising but the glowing swords and what not look somewhat...gaudy?

Scrap that, is it even coming on PC?

I got a US account and downloaded the demo, here's my thoughts:

1) Online is ridiculously imbalanced - I've played 10 games, always as evil, and lost them all. The fact that the good side is usually always full says everything. On the Shire map they had Ents almost straightaway, and whilst I've seen Gandalf I've never once seen an evil hero.

2) Everyone seems to play as mages or archers. I felt the developers have got this badly wrong. Did they not watch the films? Most of the fighting was at close quarters, and there certainly weren't lightning bolts going about. I like being a warrior but no one else seems to.

3) The capture the point online mode is ridiculous. If the enemy has 200 points and captures all the points on the map, you can't respawn and basically they've won already. This is ludicrous, and I certainly won't be playing this mode once the full game comes out.

It is a lot of fun, particularly riding horses or wargs, but I can't help but feel it will be frustrating if they don't correct the balance. Allowing for specific-class battles (warrior only) would also be a great alternative, or, at the very least, do away with mages.

Thing is I need the Balrog or Witchking to get their arse in gear and appear online. I hear the full game will be better since there will be AI soldiers on each side. And at least there will be different multiplayer modes.

You get the Battle of Dagorlad (Prologue) as the tutorial, and then the Shire and Minas Tirith as online multiplayer levels. Its easy to set up a US account lads, do it and then we can form some sort of sodomite team online.

Original?

Does it take longer than five minutes?

BarnDoor3. I think you have to string together a number of kills, which at the moment I'm finding impossible since I'm stubborn and tend to always play as the warrior. I'll probably be online around 3.30-4.30 if you fancy a muck. The mages are ridiculously overpowered mind. I hear cunts saying you can bring them down with teamwork, but how can you orchestrate tactics when a) you have no headset ; b) when your teammates are faghands who also pick mages?

Although annoying I still find it entertaining and addictive. I imagine in split-screen it will be great, and if the proper online has AI characters it will be a lot better.

I've just found out that you don't need to use the US account to play online. You can still use your UK one.

Tried it myself.

Yeah you probably could, but obviously for downloading it you need a US account.

I chose an address of a seafood restaurant in Denver.

Already got it downloaded a week ago but didn't actually realise it works on all accounts. I've already got your UK account on my list so you might as well play LOTR using Barndoor1.
