Well I saw that you have recently purchased a 32"er and with the PS3 being the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market then I'd consider it, you don't want to waste that on just your run of the mill image dvd's. Also got play tv coming out soon which allows you to record tv onto your hard drive.

I liked the first one, not a huge fan tbh. But I would never simply buy a console for one game. Only thing I'm worried about really though is obviously the fact only the 40GB version is available at the moment.

I mentioned Metal Gear as more of an added bonus.

Well that hard drive can be easily changed for a much bigger one. I've seen somewhere a 250gb one for 65 quid. Right now I've no need for such a big hard drive but I'm sure that'll change once playtv is out.

Maybe wait a bit, they're bringing out the dualshock out over here soon so I'm sure they'll have a bundle with that eventually.

I just don't want to be spending cash on something that I don't know if it's inferior obviously due to the 40GB HD, the lack of backwards compatibility etc that's all.

Still no realese date for MG yet, they said March to begin with. That soon became April as they said it wasn't going to be up to standards if they had to bring it out in March. People are now saying April, but there's been nothing official.

Drake's Fortune is great. It's short but sweet.
