I'm agree with mr.D, Although fifa09 have better package than pes09...but for offline gamer, pes absolutely better than fifa09......a lot of pes fans complained that the pes09 gameplay seems arcade, un realism and flaw..and saying that pes6 have the best gameplay ever...its that true??? for me nope....pes6 was good with fluid and smooth gameplay but not 100% realism.............This year pes09 presented nearly 90% of realistic gameplay........for those who demand for 100% of real gameplay, that is unrealistic.....all of us know that in real live football match today , the percentage of succeed make passing, shooting and dribble is very low...if konami really make something like real football gameplay...i'm sure that no more fluid and smooth gameplay anymore in pes........sorry for poor english........

Japanese internet runs faster (on avrg) than euro an US internet..the only way that pes will inprove online is when people have faster internet connections...

and if you think fifa is awfull then god help your taste in ladys...

interpret how you like mate, i can understad why people have more fun playing pes but its def not more realistic than Fifa. . . the older titles yes but not any more. . . . . it sickens me

you are ignorant that is all that is his opinion and he is clearly not spot on with percentage but i totally agree with him and if you stopped trying to be funny and clever all the time (which you are definatley not) you would take from that the fact the pro this year is very real 100% more real than fifa and there players who are all the same height weight and ability ( essien and sidwell are the same) yeeee real or what!

I agree his quote was ignorant but yours is just as much. You should give fifa credit for what it does well.....its players may have the turning circle of a ferry and react like a 90 yr old alzeimers patient but players strength is something it does very well. Essien on fifa is a beast and would out muscle sidwell in an instant, you should make sure you're correct in what you say before you speak mate.

it was a rough generalization, and i think you are wrong as i do not think they do strength very well, that and player movement essien drogba mikel kalou all run the same so its hard to differenciate from some camera angles.

i appreciate you saying it was a rough generalization mate and not fanboying it up like most. As you can see from the date i joined this site i have been a big lover of pes for a long time, since iss, but i have to give fifa credit this year.. . . . i think you should play the game on dynamic view and give it a chance, you may not like it but you would see your argument about speed and strength just doesnt hold any substance. Fast players are VERY fast, this is most evident online (which works) because the higher level you play against cpu the more it cheats ie by players getting faster. . .just like on pes. i play as villa online on fifa cos its too easy with man u, i i have to defend against ronaldo wit hnicky shorey i have to make sure i jockey and time my tackle perfectly. if i dont then he'll be gone and i have NO chance of catching up and if i only get a bit of the ball his strength willbrush me aside.. . . also you need to utilize the L2 button which make your player alot stronger and you can lean into challenges to make the most of players strength. i have no problem with people preferring pes or fifa this year. . . . . . i could not understand people liking fifa in years gone by. . . .but i cant understand people not giving fifa any credit. i know its not flawless and i can understand pes being more fun because its less of a sim but fifa does do certain things well.

i agree Fifa has taken a giant leap up from last year at least, each year i play every game fully before i decide which game i shall pledge my alligence to, and this year i just think pro is alot better, i dont think fifa, (gameplay wise) has caught up with pro yet, i do miss the jockey thing that used to be in pro im not to sure where thats gone, and im sure fifa has things pro doesnt, but with regards to just solid gameplay i dont think Fifa has anything on pro, but i am not disputing it is or may be a good game but it just can not do what pro did.

infact when i first played the fifa demo i was really impressed and i was tellin my mates this year may be the year i buy Fifa, but then when pro ( the full game) came out Fifa started to become less and less appealing, as i saw the marvellous gameplay pro had to offer.
