On Rivendell last night I sent Elrond off a bridge to his death. Then I had to kill him again. And then he was still alive to do the voiceovers after the level had finished. Elven immortality in full effect.
Another funny thing about this game is the voiceovers - you won't believe how shit they are. The guy doing Frodo's voice was the funniest, but aside from Aragorn they all suck dick.
Also I forgot yesterday to add falling into the Isengard pits with an Ent, I thought my bowels were going to collapse from laughter at one point.

Your off the hook for your much overdue slaughter. Got the game but won't get chance tonight as my mum has been taken back into hospital so i'm off to make sure the old fella is Ok. The old git is 70 and has (probably intentionally) forgot what a kitchen is for!

Good job as I can't get it working yet anyway, plus I'll let you get some practice in. Lets hope the doctors don't fist her to the kidneys like they did with my grandmother last week.
Best part of any level, for me, is the stairs part on the Moria good campaign. Just allowing the trolls to come up the stairs and trying to knock them off, but usually getting sent to your death, never gets boring, especially in co-op. One troll grabbed me and threw me right across the map, my bowels collapsed, it was too much.
I also found out Gimli could be picked up and lobbed by the trolls, but he died in Balin's Tomb, so he's getting a proper death this evening.
And try out co-op games - like see who can throw a Gondorian onto Weathertop first, and try lobbing people across the level to see if you can directly hit your partner (Weathertop is usually pretty good for this).

the sad thing about this game is that when you are trying to compete with massive PS3 titles like Resistance 2, Fallout 3 and LittleBigPlanet you need to pull something spectacular off to persuade people to buy the game and LOTR just doesnt. theres no doubting that LOTR has a huge following and is absolutely fucking epic and therein lies the total sadness of said game, because even the most devout Lord Of the Rings' fans will be slightly dissapointed with the absolutely shaft 12 on 12 MP and at the end of the day, if you look past the character skins and level modelling its basically Dynasty warriors. im happy to wait for Killzone 2 and F.E.A.R 2 personally...

I don't think I could ever get bored of the Mines of Moria level. As evil its great being trolls and throwing people across the chasms. As good however its even funnier. Let two trolls come up the narrow stairs and then try to take them on. Its hilarious enough sending one of them off and diving after it. As a scout its really funny trying to climb up one and then jumping right off to your death. But the high point was Gimli being thrown across the level to his untimely death.
That and Frodo being picked up by a Fell Beast and dropped to his death at Osgiliath.

I see you let me down again. Doesn't matter, since I joined two private conquest games where the points total was set at 5000. Best games I've played yet, must have lasted 45 minutes each. First game I joined the good team when they were trailing 2000-3500. We lost, but I finished top of the leaderboard. Second game at Helms Deep was extremely tight, 4300 each at one stage, but evil pulled away and we won an epic contest. I finished second on the leaderboard. And that's with no mages or scouts.

Not intentionally, dear boy. Dry your eyes, your time will come.
Eventually got around to sticking this in the drive the other day & have to say I'm completely underwhelmed. The AI is some of the worst I've encountered. Graphically it's a shambles and it's quite frankly technically inept.
I'll probably still complete it (in co-op mode only as the AI has an annoying habit of buggering off and leaving you to fight alone).
