Second round KO, Bill. I just had a great two rounder with Anderson Silva, the man is quality - Caught me with knees and high kicks and was doing a shit load of damage in the clinch but I managed to break free and perform two slams and then used my strength to do damage on him. I floored him inside the last 15 seconds of round two, so I ran to him, stood over and smashed in his cheek bone and eye socket. He tried to block but my striking is immense and just broke through.

Middleweight champion

EDIT: Next fight is against Nate Marquardt - Revenge is on the cards as this fucker ground raped me when I wasnt too hot with reversals etc.

EDIT 2: I just had my first online game and won by KO in round 2 - Using my fighter and the other player picked Anderson Silva :cheer:

Congrats Champ. :)

What console are you using???

You sound like an almighty force online Winger, I'm definitely intrigued to face off against you now. ;)

I'm on the PS3. How about yourself?

Have you noticed any difference in the quality of the server between ranked matches and player matches? I've only played one of the latter, last night, and it was the worst lag I've ever had, far worse than any ranked match, and it almost cost me the fight but, I changed tactics and managed to pull out a decision. It may have simply been a bad night for my connection, though, as it did cut off entirely later on, so I'm hoping that's the case.

I've just had two fights online then, the first I was dominant in the opening round and managed to get the full mount and reign in blows. Shame he decided the disconnect and quit the match, meaning I didn't get the win. So I left him a nice message.

I despise people who opt to disconnect because they're getting their ass handed to them, or even after they've got their ass handed to them just before the result can register. I had two in a row the other day, and one more not long after. That's three potential wins taken away from me, and three potential defeats avoided by them. I'm hoping it shows on their record somewhere, at the very least. There is a column marked 'DNF' so I'm hoping that means 'Did Not Finish' and is there to show up those who choose to leave the game. It's a difficult situation, I suppose, because had my player match been a ranked match, and been a few minutes later, I would've caused the "server error" because of my internet connection dying, which would've made it appear as though I choose to quit. And was there punishment it would've been on my record forever. But that would be a subtle price to pay to see all of the serial quitters shamed, I guess.

Started a career mode on the 360, Laughin "the grim reaper" Man

Im a boxer, wrestler, 6 foot light heavyweight and italian (because of the inability to chose Ireland) playing it on expert...

I started off great, ended up with 8 wins in row with seen me fight tito ortiz who slammed me mounted me and killed me :(

He definetly showed up the flaws in my character, looking to get back into it I fought vanderle silva who killed me :(

Feeling disheartened at this stage I hit the gym hard improving my strenght which I had left at 30.... way too low for the big league, after those two losses I won two and lost two. While that was happening I managed to get my strenght up to 80 and my boxing and wrestling skills had improved to lvl 3

So I was ready for action, notched up about 6 straight wins and took the title!!! I have defended it once and will do until I retire ;)

On another note im savage at this game, myself and Dundons have the reversals down to a tee I can do them instantly if my fighters ground defence is high. I can honestly say that if a fighter gets into my full guard by the time he transitions to mount I will have reversed him....

Also as someone mentioned about the muay-tye clinch being very dangerous, yesterday dundons caught me in the clinch and had done me serious damage until I broke free and noticed he was gassed. I shot for the takedown and got him on the ground where I locked in the submission and ended the fight. If anyone catchs you in the clinch for awhile you should do the same ;)

Faaaark me. I started playing this proper last night I won my first match on beginner through some calculated button bashing. Swithed to advanced and had the living shit kicked out of me a few times. Dropped to expert and had the shit knocked out of me again and then went back to Beginner to have the shit kicked out of me again. I think I have now been beaten shitless.

This is an awesome game

Unlucky mate, I hope you're being considered for the UFC Hall of Fame then.

I started a new career, with a Serbian who goes by the name of "Vlasdislav Vidic". I'm currently owning 5 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw. My last fight was against Light Heavyweight Hector Romero, and deep inside the 3rd round, after an even-tough fight, he rocked me badly. I was on the backfoot trying to recover, he threw a huge lunging hook, and I decided to go for it and lunged back with an ducking right hook and knocked him out. Within 10 seconds the fight changed on it's head twice, and ultimately ended - it was mint.

EDIT: I might as well tell you a bit about my new career fighter Vladislav Vidic then. He's a short, but very well built light heavyweight at just 5'9". My reasoning behind this was purely to add another dimension to my fighting, as opposed to often jabbing, I'll try and slide on the inside and throw some short hooks since I'm quite powerful. I thought the power would accompany my short and stocky build quite well - oh, I'm on Expert too just in case anyone belittles my battles.

At the beginning of my career I was primarily fighting poor opponents until I was able to bump my stats up a little. Only just now have I really upped the ante against my opponents. My last three fights have all been on UFN main cards, I'm not to the UFC PPV standard yet. However I've just stepped up against a Rank 17 Johnny Oro in my division and mauled him. I was thoroughly expecting it to be a tough contest, but I've managed to knock him out after 3:37 in Round 1. My fighter's (Vladislav Vidic) styles are Boxing and Wrestling, as I think they'd be most apt and realistic for his body structure. My opponent Johnny Oro was also a Boxer so I was hoping for a good exchange, but all my sparring and camp training has paid off because my performance was flawless. I connected with numerous heavy punches, and then took him down, picked him up and slammed him before standing the fight back up due to my successful striking. The knockout punch was nothing short of brutal, as he began to line up a right leg kick, I launched the trademark right-handed hook. I've never seen such a cringeworthy connection as it struck him bang on the nose, and my fist just stopped upon impact. Lights out. Come the end of the 3-minute ordeal, Johnny Oro sustained 3 major cuts - a joy to see.

Vladislav Vidic's 4th victory in a row, and his fight to the top is well underway.
